Since For Your Eyes Only, John Wyman has pursued his stage career in the theatre, but has made occasional film and TV appearances.  These include Blakes 7 (1981) for TV and Tuxedo Warrior (1982) a film set in Zimbabwe, also featuring John Terry from The Living Daylights (1987).

I met John Wyman at Pinewood Studios during the George Lazenby day in June 2005.  He signed a photograph of Eric Kreigler for me and also my event programme.
I met John again at Starcon held at Kempton Park racecourse in September 2006.  This time, I had my Jeff Marshall lithograph of For Your Eyes Only for him to sign. He was another who said he hadn't seen the lithos before, but liked them very much.
In between stage work in the theatre, John Wyman had small roles in several TV series including Doomwatch (1972), The Onedin Line (1973) and The Venturers (1975). He has also appeared in Equus (1977) alongside Richard Burton, Joan Plowright and Jenny Agutter, Revenge Of The Pink Panther (1978) and Arabian Adventure (1979) with Christopher Lee and Mickey Rooney.
John Wyman is undoubtedly best known as Eric Kreigler, Kristatos' handsome, blond henchman who moonlights as an East German skiing champion in the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only (1981).  Kreigler tries unsuccessfully to kill Bond during a cross country ski chase, with three other henchmen on motor cycles also in pursuit.  007 gets the bettter of him when the two meet again at Kristatos' hideout, and Kreigler is pushed through a window, with a long fall to his certain death below.
