I met Lynn-Holly Johnson at Collectormania, held at the Manchester G-Mex Centre in November 2006. She signed my Jeff Marshall lithograph, my Bond Girls book, and a photograph of her as Bibi Dahl.
Lynn-Holly Johnson's next film was Walt Disney's notorious and controversial horror film The Watcher in the Woods (1980) in which she played the lead role, Jan Curtis, alongside cinema legend Bette Davis.
Sadly for Lynn-Holly Johnson, the films that followed during the 1980s were largely unsuccessful, and with a lack of parts being offered to her, she gave up acting in 1996 to concentrate on her family.

For Your Eyes Only (1981) was Lynn-Holly's third film and, appropriately, she plays ice skater Bibi Dahl. Bibi has a crush on Bond, who politely declines her very obvious advances, and she remains the only woman in a Bond film that 007 rejects.
Her film debut was in Ice Castles (1978) in which she plays the lead role of Alexis Winston, who dreams of becoming a world figure-skating champion until a tragic accident dashes her hopes. Lynn-Holly was nominated for a Golden Globe award for the 'most promising newcomer'.
Chicago-born Lynn-Holly Johnson began ice skating at the age of four and after winning a number of figure-skating competitions, turned professional in 1977 when she was 19. She joined the Ice Capades, a travelling entertainment show featuring theatrical performances involving ice skating.
